English Phrasal Verb Practice with “sit down” and “stand up”
One sunny morning, Jake went to school. He was late again. He entered the classroom. "Jake, please sit down [sedni si]," the teacher said. He quickly found his seat and sat down [posadil se].
Later that day, Jake's class was discussing a school project. They all sat down together [ ]. Everyone had different ideas for the project. After a while, Jake said, "Let's sit down next week [příští týden si sedneme] to talk again." Everyone agreed and went home.
